Rockin H Ranch Horses Win Big at the KCHA and Kentucky State Fair
Louisville, Kentucky – The staff and cutting horses of Rockin H Ranch arrived in Kentucky ready to show. Traveling with a good string of show horses, Rockin H left their mark on the judges score card. At the KCHA, Skyline Smarty won big as she placed in the 10,000 Novice. Teninos Little Rebel purchased at Rockin H, dominated the youth when Nicole Sutton from Cleveland, GA won the circuit. Stylish Moves placed consistently in the open derby.The second leg of the trip led them to the Kentucky State Fair which was a great victory for the Rockin H horses. Ron Suddeth of Lebanon, TN, riding his Mare Skyline Smarty was the champion of the 5-6 year old Non-Pro. Walt rode Stylish Moves to the reserve championship in the 4 year old derby. After placing well at the State Fair, the trip ended with the Region 4 Aged Event Championship. At the Region 4 show, John Hulsey and Cowgirls Paradise had a magnificent had a magnificent show winning checks in all three classes. Cowgirls Paradise (Catfish) under the direction o f Walt Erwin stayed consistent by winning checks on each day of the open derby. Connie’s Rey owned by Bryan Patterson of Lebanon, TN and trained by Walt, proved her first trip to the show pen by winning money in the open derby. Skyline Smarty continued her winning ways by becoming the circuit champion in the 10,000 Novice.
