Rockin H Ranch was built and developed by John and Cinda Hulsey of Gainesville , Georgia . Lifetime Hall County resident, John also owns and operates a very successful mechanical contracting company established over 5 generations ago. His business success continues as a residential and commercial real estate developer building neighborhoods and upscale shopping venues. His love for all animals was instilled at a very early age, particularly his admiration for horses. Rockin H Ranch was designed from a dream of wanting the opportunity to work with the horses providing the proper care and needs to produce first class show horses. This state of the art facility not only created employment but has given others a chance to participate in such an admirable sport.

John’s success would not be possible without the tireless efforts and generous support that his wife Cinda has provided for him.

John and Cinda reside in Gainesville, and have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.

Devin and Crista White, the daughter and son-in law of John and Cinda Hulsey, have been riding horses since they were young. Their love for horses has lead them to compete in many events. They started team penning as a team with John, and really enjoyed the competitiveness and excitement of the sport. Crista's interest in barrel racing soon led her to winning the 2d State Championship in IBRA in 2004. Devin and Crista traveled most weekends to barrel shows. The barrel racing soon slowed down after finding out they were expecting a baby. In Dec. of 2005 they had a son, Charlie.  John Hulsey became interested in cutting in 2004 and not long after that, Devin and Crista started enjoying the sport. Crista said "We have only been involved in cutting for a year now, but we both really enjoy the thrill of riding a cutting horse."

Rockin H Ranch is proud to announce the arrival of new horse trainer Randy Harvey and his wife Rena. Randy comes to Rockin H Ranch with many years of experience in the horse cutting industry. Beginning his career in Spartanburg , South Carolina , he began by training team penning horses. He quickly realized the intelligence of the cutting horses and made a sound decision to begin a new adventure. His talent has earned him the respect of many horse owners. He has competed in the American Cutting Horse Association and Paint World Cutting in National Cutting Horse Association placing first at many competitions.

After several meetings with the Hulsey family, Randy and Rena left N.W. Georgia to pursue a full time position training the many horses located at Rockin H Ranch. Rena assists Randy with the daily maintenance of the show horses. Her genuine love for the breed allows her the opportunity to share the responsibility of grooming, conditioning, and riding of the horses. Since Randy’s busy schedule takes him all over the United States to ride and show these horses, her gentle nature and devotion is an asset to his career. Randy and Rena’s unique talent has left an impression on 14 year old granddaughter Kendall Lee. Kendall began riding horses at age 4 and has astonished the industry with her natural ability to connect with any horse she rides. Her rigorous schedule consists of school and training up to 14 hours per day.

Randy will continue to receive a select number of horses for training.
